INCANTO COLLECTION BY VIETRI VIETRI INCANTO LACE MEDIUM 3 PART SERVER The Incanto White Lace Medium Three Part Server is inspired by Murano lace and is handmade in Veneto from terra marrone. EASY CARE FOR YOUR INCANTO ADDITION DISHWASHER SAFE - We recommend using a non-citrus, non-abrasive detergent on the air dry cycle and not overloading the dishwasher. Hand washing is recommended for oversized items. MICROWAVE SAFE - The temperature of handmade, natural clay items may vary after microwave use. We recommend allowing items to cool before taking them out of the microwave or using an oven mitt. OVEN SAFE - VIETRI's casserole and baking dishes can be used in most conventional ovens and dishwashers. They are handmade of very dense clays and fired at extremely high temperatures, making them heat resistant to 400 degrees Fahrenheit. As the Italians do, place baking dishes in a room-temperature oven and then bring the oven to cooking temperature. The handles of these pieces are decorative and should not be used for support. Do not use casserole lids in the oven. FREEZER SAFE - Please allow them to return to room temperature before putting them into the oven. MATERIAL Incanto collection is made of Terra marrone earthenware which is a hard and dense clay used mainly in Italy for making sculptures and wall art for churches. It is of dark brown or black clay, which in this collection is enhanced with a white wash on top. A special hardening paste is added to ensure substantial strength. The Baroque style is inspired by the elaborate architectural curves of 17th century Europe RUFFLE The ruffle design mimics the soft waves of the nearby Adriatic Sea. The motif of the ruffle creates beautiful movement on the table. STRIPE The stripe is reminiscent of the stately columns of the grand Italian Palladian villas along the Veneto's Brenta river LACE The lace was inspired by the famed lace of Venice's Burano Island as well as inspired by the antique lace owned by the artisan's grandmother.
